May we be encouraged by this account of the early church to continue to seek God in prayer. He doesn’t always answer in the way we think, but He is capable of doing far more than we can imagine.

Jesus sacrifice and suffering brought us peace with God. Our salvation is only possible because of Jesus’ sacrifice.

God gave us the Bible so that we could know Him. His Word takes root deep in our hearts and will strengthen us to stand against sin. We must rely on Jesus and His word to us. Relying on our own strength often leads to pride and failure.
